The Stains on The Moon
A Legend, written by Antonio Paredes Candia and translated by Andrea Piaget
The Stains on The Moon, written circa 1975, is a legend by Antonio Paredes Candia, a Bolivian folkloric writer and researcher from La Paz. This legend is about a woman belonging to the Guarayo people, a native minority of Santa Cruz de La Sierra, Bolivia, who falls in love with a mythical man who descends from the heavens of the tropical nights of the Bolivian Amazon.
Emotion is a nuanced and sophisticated language.
