When you speak, it is always best to know. To know, one must be humble enough to understand what one does not know and, in one's heart, be like a child again to be able to listen with purity over bias.

The Keys to Time

Edition 28, The Keys to Time, brings forth part one of Immigration into Bolivia: From Bayonne to Riveralta, telling the story of a German lady and Polish gentleman who moved to France during the continuous land-seizing period in central Europe before the First World War. They had a child in Bayonne, Côte Basque, who later traveled to the luscious land of the Bolivian Amazon during the first rubber boom in the 1800s.

Then, we share a legend called The Legend of Tumparenta, originating from the Chiriguano tribe, an indigenous minority from Santa Cruz de La Sierra, Bolivia, written by folkloric writer Antonio Paredes Candia from the city of La Paz. To conclude, a poem called The Keys to Time is about becoming acquainted with the intrinsic value of memories that enrich one's inner world.

The Keys to Time takes the reader back to 1800s Europe. This non-fiction story begins with a conflict between Napoleon and the Russian Tsar Alexander I. It then succinctly discusses the causalities of World War I and its historical resolutions over time.

It tells the story of a German lady and Polish gentleman who moved to Côte Basque in Bayonne, France, on the border with Spain circa 1870s, to raise their only child, Amadeus Czerniewicz Heitzmann, who later became a trusted financier for the rubber Baron Nicolás Suárez Callau, during the rubber boom in South America

The popular saying repeats: "As a sample, a button," and it is here, for you, an expansive reader, that I transmit a legend of unparalleled fantasy…

The Keys to Time

A poem written by Andrea Piaget

The Keys to Time is not just a poem, but a journey of understanding. It's about recognizing the value of things not in their materiality, as objects external to one's experience, but rather in perceiving the intrinsic value they sustain via the enrichment of one's inner world.
